I currently live in Seattle, sort of. I just returned to America (America!) after living in Cameroon for two years. This means I spend a lot of time reminding myself not to shake people hands just because they’ve re-entered the room, and also marveling at the glorious efficiency of public institutions, like the post office, and the DMV.
I am a 29-year-old girl with the hobbies of a 74-year-old woman, and the sense of humor of a 12-year-old boy.
I enjoy The Boss, and also cheese.
I don’t enjoy the word ‘Blog’. I think it sounds gross.
If you would like to know more about me, you can read this. If you would like to know more about the Conquest of Normandy, you can read this.

so, why does your rss feed not work?
Umm, because I don’t know what an rss feed is? Or does? Should it work? Am I missing out on something? Becareful you don’t get recruited…
you’ve got the little rss feed symbol on the bottom of your page – but I don’t have a clue how to make something like that work. The intent is along the lines of a podcast, whenever your page was updated my rss reader (outlook, as it happens) would let me know almost like an e-mail. maybe it’s an extra-cost wordpress option?

some info on feeds, and widgets, and confusion…
Umm, I think I made it work. Well, WordPress allowed me to make it work by giving instructions so easy a semi-literate monkey could do it.
Unless it’s not working. Then it is very very complicated.
ah, no joy. perhaps a corporate firewall issue. I wil try with my trusty psp. or maybe at home.
And now it works quite well, I’m suspecting an operator error on my part.
Greetings … just ran across your blog. We’ve been busy breaking in Bangangte for your stage … I think you’ll enjoy it here but get ready for some rain and mud, at least at the beginning. It’s a stressful time, but it ends eventually (Tuesday for us) and will go by very quickly. Good luck!
I googled “That’s what she said” looking for another blog but ended up on your site. Hmm? Anyways, my wife has mentioned joining the peace corps in the next 2-3 years after we finish college. Right now I’m not really interested, but that’s probably due to my recent four years I spent in the military in Japan. So I’m enjoying my time back in America for a little while. Well, I hope you are enjoying what you’re doing more than normal life.
Take care.
I was looking for ways to use the expression “you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs” and stumbled upon your blog. I never really read a blog before (tried to start one a little while ago but that didn’t go very far) but I like your style.
Take care
