i will add to this list later. i have to go to work, but it gives me pleasure to be the first to leave a comment.

  2. T-Bone Says:

slip n slide, while the ultimate in fun as a child apparently scares me to death now. we had one at kickball last summer and i was too afraid of hurling myself onto the ground to even attempt it… it was a sad moment indeed.

  3. Katie Says:

My dad recently gave me a copy of Color Me Badd’s CD because he’s a funny/sweet guy like that. I never realized how truly terrible their liner notes were. “I like a girl that can understand the depths of a good man.” What does that even mean? See you this weekend!

  4. Dr. Jones Says:

i think that the fear with slip’n’slides is warranted because as an adult we are much further from the ground!

  5. Dr. Jones Says:

ok. to add to the list of things that are just as good as i remember: life savers, puffalumps, old school nintendo, staying up late, and rock collections. to add to the list of things not as good as i remember: saturday morning cartoons (though i think it’s because they’ve changed), and community pools.

  6. Kit Kat Says:

I remember a slip ‘n’ slide incident when I was a kid where this girl stepped on a bee as she was running up to it. It stung her on the bottom of her foot. I can’t think of slip ‘n’ slides without thinking of this.

  7. Fortress Guy Says:

Aww, dissin the Jem cartoon? Take another look. It had deep characterizations – and fashion! ;)

I just finished my take on Jem with lots o’ pics if you are interested.
